Are they safe?

A young one going to make sure that her secrets are safe. I’ve been told off for the post about secrets. Thank you to those who helped me through yesterday – your comments and time taken is greatly appreciated. When we’re not so raw, we’ll try to find a way to show our appreciation.

I’m sorry you had a reaction to your post yesterday. I thought it was very brave of you. Reassure inside. They are safe. It wasn’t a mistake.

Yes, it was Paul. We have the mother coming to stay with us on Sunday, so we need to have the appearance of sanity. Stirring up the system in such a way was not a good thing to do.

    Take care,

I’m also sorry the post was triggering. You are safe. Your secrets are safe. Take care. Safe hugs to you.

You are strong enough to cope with your mother.

And you showed strength yesterday when you posted about secrets and read the replies from others to that post.

Your little ones and not so little ones are brave and wise and strong. They are part of you, which means that you are brave and wise and strong as well.

    I have faith in you.

    gracie xx.

You are strong, CG. Imagine us beside you when the mother is visiting. Giving you strength and holding any craziness for you. I hope that makes sense. Hugs to you.

Thank you all for your support…

Katie is stunned that you would have faith in us Gracie. The wide-eyed wonder of someone believing in her strength… Thank you for touching with such kindness our center of hope.

Yes, I understand exactly what you mean Kerro, and Management would like to know when you’d like the craziness transplant to begin :) She is in a rather cynical mood as we’ve been in meetings all morning. But we do know exactly what you mean, and it’s got nothing to do with transplants, but everything to do with acceptance – which is so much more important. Thank you.

    Thank you Kate :)

You’ll be OK. You have time to soothe and reassure the system before your mother arrives. I think one of the primary skills in starting to heal from toxic secrets is to remember that although stirring up happens, settling back down also happens. You may feel more unsettled than you’d ideally like, but I know you’ll be all right. As you progress, your definition of being OK may change. Someday it may include being more stirred up when you’re with people than you’re comfortable with now. But your functioning is well-established, and well-practiced. You can take little risks. It’s OK. We’re here for you.

    Thank you.

We’re closer to our usual sarcastic librarian status already :) Our gorgeous cat gave us a scare last night as she wouldn’t move away from the heater and seemed to be in pain. But she’s fine now and we know we will be too.

You might be subjected to more random waffling as we try to get through the next month with what shreds of sanity we have now still intact. I’m expecting the next month to cause a substantial plunge in the blog stats :)

    Take care,
